Formulators that want to join the ZDHC Gateway and use all its functionalities, need to consider that there are costs related to it.
01/ ZDHC Gateway Formulator Subscription
During the registration process, you have the option to choose a 30-day Trial period or immediately subscribe to the Pro-Plan or Signatory Chemical Formulator Plan. With the 30-day Trial period, you can upload all your chemical products in the ZDHC Gateway, but the chemical products will remain unpublished. Once the Trial period is over, you will need to upgrade your subscription to continue using the system and to be able to publish the products*. In case you are not a Signatory (previously known as Contributor) of ZDHC, you will have to choose the Pro-Plan subscription. To learn more about the two types of subscriptions, the Pro-Plan and the Signatory Chemical Formulator Plan, please click here.
ZDHC Gateway Pricing Model
As of 1 January 2023, when registering a new account on the ZDHC Gateway or when renewing an existing subscription upon expiration, Formulators are assigned an access tier fee, based on the number of total chemical products they intend to publish within the subscription year. There is no additional product token fee charged to the Formulator.
Please check the bottom of this article to find the ZDHC Gateway Pricing Guide attached.
02/ ZDHC ChemCheck report
The cost to create a ZDHC ChemCheck report is included in the annual product fee. This also includes ZDHC reviewing information on SDS and ZDHC Approved MRSL Certifiers.
Please note that ZDHC does not certify products and does not reach out to ZDHC Approved MRSL Certifiers to get your products certified.
*At the end of the 30 days free trial, what happens? After 30 days does the access lapse or do we have to do something to avoid payments being automatically taken? If we want to continue after 30 days, what would it cost?
Once you’ve completed your registration, you will be given a 30-day Trial period where you can upload all your chemical products in the ZDHC Gateway, but the chemical products will remain unpublished. Once the Trial period is over, you will need to upgrade your subscription to continue using the system. You would also need to upgrade so that you can publish your chemical products. Kindly note that only published chemical products will be searchable to your Brands and Suppliers.
