This guide will show you how you can register on the ZDHC Gateway as a Formulator. The steps include creating your user credentials, submitting your organisation information and relevant contacts, and selecting a subscription type. 01/ Getting Started
Once you have clicked on the invitation link from the ZDHC Gateway, you are sent to the Gateway registration front page that asks you to confirm whether you are a Supplier or Formulator.
- Make sure that the Chemical Formulator box is ticked.
- Click on Get Started.

Read the instructions and click Next
02/ User Details
The next step revolves around your user information and login credentials.

Fill out the required fields on the User page.
Note: Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*). - Download and read the User Terms and Conditions and check the box to agree and continue.

Click Create Login & Continue at the bottom-right of the page.
- A confirmation pop-up message appears. Click Yes.
03/ Organisation Details
This step requires you to fill out your organisation details, such as address and billing information.

Fill out the required fields concerning your organisation details. Note: You can use your OS ID to automate filling out company details.

Fill out your organisation’s OS ID Information.
This will automatically populate some details. If you don’t have an OS ID yet, you can create one directly on this screen or skip this step completely.

Add the Organisation Address.

Click Save & Continue.
04/ Contacts
When organisations view your organisation profile, relevant contacts from your organisation will be displayed.
- Fill out the required fields on the Contacts page. Note: Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
- You can either Save & Continue directly or Save and Add Another Contact. When you clicked Save and Add Another Contact, your first contact will be shown on the top.
05/ Declaration
This step requires you to acknowledge the receipt of the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) and the ZDHC Conformance Guidance.
You have two options whether to Sign Now or to Send to Sign.
- If you choose to have it signed by another member of your organisation, click Send to Sign.

A new window will open where you can enter the Name and Email of the person who should receive this for signature. Then click Send.

If you choose to sign it yourself, click on Sign Now.

Once the pop-up window opens, tick the check box to acknowledge that you have read and that you support ZDHC’s objectives.

Enter the password that you have chosen earlier and click Sign & Accept.
- Click Proceed to Plans.

There are three subscription plans - Trial, Pro-Plan, and Signatory Chemical Formulator Plan.
For the free trial select Trial, which allows you to upload products. However, you cannot publish products with a Trial subscription. You need to upgrade to Pro or Signatory Plan within 30 days. With the Pro or Signatory subscription, you are able to upload your products and publish them immediately once they have been reviewed. Signatory Chemical Formulator Plan is only available to our ZDHC Signatories. The subscription allows you to use the same functions as with the Pro-Plan but does include a discount. - If you choose Pro-Plan, please select the total number of products you would like to publish. After the selection, the subscription charges will be calculated automatically. Click on the calculated amount shown at the bottom.
- Click on “Yes” for subscription, payment details and billing information.
Mention all the details in the billing information and click on Payment.
06/ Payment method
Credit card:

- Fill out the required fields on the credit card payment.
- Check the box of the agreement for the terms and conditions.
- Click on Confirm purchase.
Wire transfer:
After the selection of Wire Transfer, the following message will pop up.
- Fill out the required fields on the credit card payment.
- Check the box of the agreement for the terms and conditions.

Click on Confirm purchase.
07/ Check Out
You have completed your registration.
On the final step of the registration process, the account of the company will be found. The ZDHC Customer Support Team reviews and approves your registration, if all information provided is sufficient.
Invoice statements will appear and can be used for internal reference.
