How to Pay for a ZDHC Gateway Transaction
You can pay for your ZDHC Gateway transaction using one of the following methods:
-
Credit card
-
Wire transfer (via your bank)
Recommended Payment Method: Credit Card
We strongly recommend using a credit card for the following reasons:
-
Immediate payment processing – your ZDHC Gateway transaction is approved instantly.
-
No additional ZDHC administration fee – unlike wire transfers, credit card payments do not incur extra charges from ZDHC.
Paying by Wire Transfer (via Your Bank)
If you choose to pay via wire transfer, please carefully follow the instructions below to ensure your transaction is processed without delay.
1. Additional ZDHC Administration Fee
-
A €25 administration fee (listed as “wire payment surcharge”) is added to your invoice.
-
This fee is required because wire transfers require additional manual work on the ZDHC side.
-
Important: This is separate from any fees your bank may charge for making the transfer.
2. Ensure Full Payment is Received by ZDHC
-
ZDHC must receive the full invoice amount, including the €25 administration fee.
-
Your organisation must cover all bank fees related to the transfer.
In your bank’s payment instructions, you must:
-
Select the fee type "OUR" – this ensures your organisation covers all fees (including those of your bank and any intermediary banks), and ZDHC receives the total amount invoiced.
-
Include your ZDHC Gateway transaction ID in the payment reference.
3. Processing Time
-
Once the transfer has been made, please note that transaction approval may take up to 10 working days.
-
Ensuring all steps above are followed will help avoid delays.
Important: Insufficient Payment
If ZDHC receives less than the invoiced amount, we will be unable to approve your transaction.
You will receive an email notification detailing the shortfall.
To complete the transaction, you will need to:
-
Pay the outstanding amount.
-
Again, ensure your organisation covers all related bank charges.
