Knowledge base

Every registered organisation on the ZDHC Gateway has a public profile page. This article explains what information is shown on that page, who can see it, and how organisations control their own visibility.

01/ Introduction

The public profile page is a summary view of an organisation. It is visible to any logged-in ZDHC Gateway user, regardless of whether they are connected to that organisation. The information shown is split into two layers: basic information that is always public, and optional information that the organisation controls.

For chemical formulators, the profile page also shows a product statistics block and a list of published products.

02/ What is always visible

The following information is shown on every approved organisation's profile page, regardless of connection status or sharing settings:

  • Organisation name
  • Organisation ID
  • Organisation type (e.g. Supplier, chemical formulator, Brand, Wastewater Lab)
  • Country and address
  • Module engagement indicators (InCheck, ClearStream, Supplier to Zero). Review Understanding the module engagement indicators on an organisation's profile article for more details.

03/ Steps

Viewing another organisation's profile

  1. Open the search bar in the top navigation and type the organisation's name.
  2. Click View on the matching result. View of a search bar with typed in organisation name, search results and View button
  3. The profile page opens. You will see the organisation's name, type, ZDHC Gateway ID, and address at the top. View of an organisation profile page header, with Organisation Information, Address and Bookmark button
  4. Scroll down to the ZDHC Gateway tools section to see which adoption programmes the organisation is engaged with. See Module engagement indicators on an organisation's profile for a full explanation.
  5. If you are connected to this organisation, you will also see their detailed module data. If you are not connected, you will see only a summary view.

Controlling what your own organisation shares

You must be an admin in your organisation to change sharing settings.

  1. Go to your organisation's profile.
  2. Navigate to the sharing or visibility settings.
  3. Toggle which types of information you want to share publicly — for example, gateway tool engagement or published product statistics (formulators only).

Note: Some basic fields (organisation name, type, address, and Gateway ID) are always visible and cannot be hidden.

04/ What organisations can choose to share

Organisations can also share more data with ZDHC Gateway users who are not connected to them. An organisation admin controls these sharing settings.

Options typically include:

  • Supplier profile details — industry type, facility type, material type, wastewater discharge information (available once the supplier profile is finalised in a future update)
  • ZDHC Gateway tool usage — a summary of which ZDHC Gateway modules the organisation uses

05/ Connected vs non-connected view

What you see on a profile page depends on whether your organisation is connected to the organisation you are viewing.

Type of data Non-Connected Connected
Organisation name and address Always visible Always visible
Module engagement indicators Always visible Always visible
Optional shared profile data If the organisation has enabled sharing Always visible
InCheck report detail Not visible Full access
ClearStream report detail Not visible Full access

To request access to full performance data, send a connection request. See How do I send a connection request to another organisation?.

06/ Chemical Formulator profile pages

If the organisation you are viewing is a chemical formulator, the profile page includes additional information:

  • Statistics block: shows the total number of published products. It breaks the total down by ZDHC MRSL conformance level and Chemicals to Zero status.
  • Published product list: a list of the formulator's published products, visible to any ZDHC Gateway user.

Note: The statistics block is only shown if the chemical formulator has chosen to share this information. Formulators control whether their product portfolio is visible to non-connected organisations.

07/ Tips & Notes

Tip: If you are a brand or vendor looking for a supplier and want to learn more before connecting, the public profile page is a good starting point. Module indicators and any shared profile data give you enough context to decide whether to send a connection request.

Note: Parent-child organisation relationships will be visible on profile pages in a future update, once that feature is released. At launch, organisation hierarchies are not shown.
