Knowledge base

When you view another organisation's profile on the ZDHC Gateway, you may see a set of coloured badges or marks. This article explains what those indicators mean and how to interpret them.

01/ Introduction

On an organisation's public profile page, the ZDHC Gateway displays which ZDHC adoption tools that organisation is using. These indicators signal what a supplier or formulator is using on the platform. Indicators give only an initial signal and do not replace detailed data. To see full reports and scores, connect to the organisation.

View of organisation through the search button. It shows the organisation information and the ZDHC Gateway tools the organisation is engaging with.

02/ Prerequisites

Anyone with platform access can follow this guide.

03/ What the indicators mean

Each indicator corresponds to a ZDHC Gateway adoption module:

Indicator Module What it means
InCheck Chemical Inventory The organisation has an active InCheck subscription and has submitted at least one chemical inventory report.
ClearStream Wastewater Testing The organisation has an active ClearStream subscription and has submitted at least one wastewater test report.
Supplier to Zero Self-assessment & improvement The organisation has engaged with the Supplier to Zero programme (e.g. completed a self-assessment).

Note: The exact criteria for each indicator, such as how recent a report must be to count as "active engagement", are in the works. This article will be updated when the detailed criteria is available.

04/ What "not shown" means

If an indicator is absent, it does not necessarily mean the organisation has failed. It may mean the tool is not applicable to them. For example, a supplier with no wet processes may not be required to do ClearStream testing.

The Gateway will show more precise states in a future update, including:

  • Not applicable — the module does not apply to this organisation based on their supplier profile.
  • Not engaged — the module applies, but the organisation has not yet participated.

Until the new supplier profile is available, the absence of an indicator means there isn't enough information to determine what applies to the organisation.

05/ What the indicators do not tell you

  • The indicators do not show the outcome of a report (pass, fail, or conditional).
  • They do not show how recent the last engagement was.
  • They also do not replace a connection — only connected brands or vendors can view the underlying reports.

06/ Tips & Notes

Tip: If you are a brand or vendor and want to see detailed performance data for a specific supplier, send them a connection request. Once connected, you can access their InCheck reports and ClearStream results directly.

Note: Indicator badges on a supplier profile are set by the Gateway based on verified data. Suppliers cannot manually change them.
