This article explains the ClearStream activity log for suppliers — what it shows, how to use it, and how to filter the information.
01/ Introduction
The activity log in ClearStream is your tool for monitoring actions and progress within your module. Access it from the left-hand menu to review a complete, timestamped record of all activities across testing cycles. This helps you track progress, investigate issues, and maintain an audit trail for stakeholders.
02/ What the activity log shows
The activity log displays a table with the following columns:
- Date — the date and time the action was taken.
- ClearStream cycle ID — the identifier for the testing cycle the action belongs to.
- Action type — the type of event that occurred.
- Performed by — the user or system that performed the action.
- Description — additional details about the action.
03/ Action types you may see
You will find a range of event types tracked by the activity log throughout ClearStream. For example:
- Cycle started
- Wastewater criteria submitted
- Lab request submitted
- Lab request accepted
- Lab request rejected
- Sampling completed
- Testing started
- Test results updated
- Supplier accepted
- Supplier declined
This list is not exhaustive — all significant actions across every stage of the workflow are recorded.
04/ Filtering the activity log
Use the filters at the top of the activity log to narrow your view. To filter events, select a date range, enter a cycle ID, or choose an action type. This will help you quickly find specific events.
Tip: To see what happened during a specific testing cycle, first locate the cycle ID for that period. Then use the cycle ID filter to display only the events from that testing cycle, arranged chronologically, making it easy to follow the sequence of actions.
05/ Tips & Notes
Note: The activity log is read-only. You cannot edit or delete entries. This preserves a reliable audit trail in the ClearStream module.
