This article explains how Supplier Admins can control which operational data is shared with each connected organisation on the ZDHC Gateway.

01/ Introduction

As a Supplier, you decide what data each connected organisation can see. Sharing is configured per connection. You can share different data with different organisations, and each setting is independent. No data is shared by default when a connection is created.

You can configure data sharing for connections with Brands and Vendors.

There are two data types you can control:

Badge Data type What the connected organisation can see when enabled
CI Chemical Inventory Your published chemical product inventory
WW Wastewater Data Your ClearStream test results, including RCA and CAP data

Notes:

• Data sharing settings are only available for active connections. If a connection is in Pending or any other non-active status, the sharing options will be greyed out. They become available once the connection is confirmed as active.
  • If a connection is removed or cancelled by either party, all sharing settings for that connection are automatically reset to off. If you reconnect with the same organisation in the future, sharing will start from scratch with everything disabled by default.

02/ Prerequisites

  • You must be a Supplier Admin.
  • The connection with the Brand or Vendor must already be active.

03/ Steps

  1. Go to your Organisation Profile and open the Connections tab.
  2. Click the row of the connection you want to configure. The connection details drawer opens.
  3. Scroll to the Data sharing section in the drawer.

Screenshot of the Data sharing section in the connection details drawer, showing three toggleable options for Chemical Inventory, Wastewater Data, and Connections Data.
  4. Review the three options. Each shows a description of what the connected organisation can see.
  5. Tick the checkbox next to any option you want to enable. The setting saves automatically — no save button is required.
  6. A confirmation message appears briefly. The corresponding badge (CI, WW, or CD) now appears on the connection row in the table.

To disable a sharing option, untick its checkbox. The setting saves immediately, and the badge is removed from the table.

04/ Tips & Notes

Notes:

  • Only you (the Supplier) can change these settings. The connected Brand or Vendor can see what is currently shared, but cannot modify the settings.
  • Disabling a sharing option takes effect immediately. The connected organisation will lose access to that data as soon as the toggle is turned off.

Tip: To share with multiple connections at once, use the bulk data sharing feature. See How do I perform bulk actions on connections?
