This article explains how to connect your organisation to another organisation on the ZDHC Gateway.

01/ Introduction

Connecting to another organisation allows you to share and access performance data on the ZDHC Gateway. You initiate a connection from your Connections page, and the other organisation receives a notification to accept or reject your request.

02/ Prerequisites

  • You must be an admin user of your organisation.
  • You need the name or Organisation ID of the organisation you want to connect with.

03/ Which organisations can you connect to?

The organisation types you can connect to depend on your own organisation type:

Your organisation type Can connect to
Supplier Brand, Vendor
Brand Supplier, Vendor
Vendor Supplier, Brand

Note: It is not currently possible to connect to organisations of the same type (for example, Supplier to Supplier).

04/ Steps

  1. Navigate to your Organisation Profile and open the Connections page.

View showing menu drop-down with Organisation Profile

  2. Click Add New Connection.

  3. Select the organisation type you want to connect to from the dropdown. Only the organisation types available to you will appear.
  4. Search for the organisation by entering either:

    • The Organisation ID, if you know it, or
    • The Organisation Name. Enter at least three characters and click Search.
  5. Find the organisation in the search results and click Connect.

The connection request is sent immediately. The receiving organisation is notified and can accept or reject the request from their own Connections page. Your request appears in your connections table with a Pending status until a decision is made.

05/ Tips & Notes

Tip: If you know the Organisation ID of the organisation you want to connect with, use that for your search. It returns an exact match and avoids confusion between organisations with similar names.

Note: You can cancel a pending connection request at any time from the Connections page before it is accepted.
