This article explains how to view and manage your organisation's connections on the ZDHC Gateway.

01/ Introduction

Connections allow organisations to share performance data with each other on the ZDHC Gateway. Admin users can manage all active connections and incoming requests from the Connections page on their organisation profile.

02/ Prerequisites

  • You must be an admin user of the organisation to manage connections and access the Connections page.

03/ The Connections page

Navigate to your Organisation Profile and open the Connections tab. Here you see your connections table and any incoming connection requests.

If your organisation has no connections or requests yet, both sections will show an empty state.

04/ Filtering your connections

Five filters are available at the top of the connections table:

  • Status: Filter by Active, Pending, Rejected, or Disconnected.
  • Connection type: Filter by Sent (your organisation initiated the connection) or Received (the other organisation initiated it).
  • Organisation type: Filter by Supplier, Brand, Vendor, or ZDHC Approved Laboratory.
  • Country: Search for and filter by the country of the connected organisation.
  • Labels: Filter by one or more custom labels you have assigned to your connections. See How do I add and manage labels on my connections? for more on labels.

Tip: Filters work together. For example, you can combine Organisation Type and Country to find all Suppliers in a specific country.

05/ Connections table explained

Column Description
Organisation Name The name of the connected organisation
Organisation ID The unique ZDHC Gateway ID of the connected organisation
Status Current status of the connection
Initiated by Whether the connection was sent or received
Request date When the connection request was made
Labels Any custom labels you have assigned to this connection, shown as coloured badges
Data sharing Badges indicating which data types are currently being shared on this connection (see below)

Data sharing badges

Badge Colour Meaning
CI Blue Chemical Inventory data is being shared (Supplier-controlled)
WW Teal Wastewater data (including RCA/CAP) is being shared (Supplier-controlled)

The Data sharing column shows coloured badges for any sharing that is currently active on a connection.

Badges only appear when sharing is active. A connection with no badges has no active data sharing.

06/ Viewing and managing an individual connection

Click any row in the connections table to open the connection details drawer. The drawer shows full details for that connection and lets you perform individual actions, such as adding labels, adjusting data-sharing settings, and cancelling the connection.
