The OS ID is a unique Reference Number which is allocated to a specific manufacturing site and held within the Open Supply Hub database (OS Hub).
This unique single identity allows users to share and collect data across multiple platforms. This has benefits for all stakeholders:
- For the OS ID holder, it will reduce repetitive data entry across multiple platforms, including the ZDHC Gateway.
- For supply chain partners of the OS ID holder, it will provide confidence that data collected from multiple platforms, always relates to the same supplier and manufacturing site location.
