This ZDHC Gateway feature enables Suppliers to provide transparency to their connected Brands by allowing them to view their Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and/or Chemical Inventory (CI). Suppliers can initiate the acceptance or revoking of permissions themselves. While Brands can request to view CAP and/or CI on their side, this is subject to the Supplier's approval.
This optional sharing feature allows for greater transparency. It builds on the ClearStream and InCheck reports but doesn’t substitute them while leaving the right to the Supplier to manage access to their data, as they prefer and on a partner-to-partner basis.
This guide will show you how to manage your CAP and/or CI transparency with your connected Brand partners, as a Supplier, by accepting or revoking your sharing status on ZDHC Gateway.
Let’s get started!
01/ Managing your CAP/CI access
- Click CONNECTIONS on the left navigation panel.
- Select Brand.
- You will see the list of your connected Brand partners under the My Connections tab.
- Select Brand(s) you would like to manage your CAP/CI access for by checking the box next to their name(s) . Check the box next to My Organisation to select and perform actions on all of your connected Brands. Note: you can perform bulk sharing for up to 150 connections at once.
- Click the Transparency button that will appear in the top right corner.
- Check the box next to CAP and/or CI. Note: both can be selected and managed simultaneously.
- To grant access select Grant Access. To revoke access select Revoke Access, choose one of the three reasons and add an optional comment (visible to your Brand partner), if needed. To reset changes after granting/revoking access select Reset to Default.
- Click OK.
02/ Checking your CAP/CI sharing status
- Click CONNECTIONS on the left navigation panel.
- Select Brand.
- You will see the list of your connected Brand partners under the My Connections tab.
- Under CI and CAP columns you will see your current sharing status with each Brand.
- Granted status means your Brand partner can view CAP/CI.
- Revoked status means your Brand partner is not allowed to view CAP/CI. Hovering over Revoked will show one of the three reasons you selected, as well as an optional comment you wrote, if applicable.
- If there is no status written, you haven’t yet selected the CAP/CI access rights for a given Brand.
Note: a blue dot next to the status indicates that your organisation is the one that initiated the action on a given CAP/CI sharing access (either granted or revoked it).
03/ What is a CAP and how to upload it?
A Corrective Action Plan (CAP) creates a process for managing actual and potential non-conformity or non-compliance. Refer to this article for glossary.
If your wastewater test results require you to have a CAP, follow the step-by-step instructions to upload it onto ZDHC Gateway described in this article.
04/ What is the ZDHC Gateway Chemical Inventory (CI)?
The Gateway Chemical Inventory ("CI") is a snapshot of the Chemical Inventory List, CIL, which is uploaded in the Performance InCheck process by a Supplier.
The CI is then screened against the ZDHC Gateway product database to generate a Performance InCheck report.
