01/ The ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module - Key Roles

The user groups on the Chemical Module are:

  1. Formulators

    - Create an account on the ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module.

    - Invite stakeholders from their value chain to the platform.

    - Upload chemical products a SDS, or a certificate from a ZDHC conformance indicator.

    - Create ChemCheck reports (a product passport) to show the ZDHC MRSL conformance of a chemical product to customers.

  2. Certification Bodies

    - Upon becoming a ZDHC MRSL Conformance Indicator, login credentials will be received to access the ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module.

    - Verify chemical products uploaded by formulators.

    The chemical product then becomes visible to all suppliers and brands with an active account on the ZDHC Gateway.

  3. Suppliers

    - Create an account on the ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module.

    - Can invite stakeholders from their value chain to the platform.

    - Search for chemical products uploaded by formulators by using the enhanced filtering options.

    - Measure the ZDHC MRSL conformance of their input chemistry via an InCheck Report (chemical inventory assessment)

  4. Brands

    - Upon becoming a ZDHC Contributor or a Friend of ZDHC login credentials will be received to access the ZDHC Gateway (Chemical and Wastewater Modules).

    - Can invite stakeholders from their value chain to the platform

    - Search for chemical products uploaded by formulators by using the enhanced filtering options

    - Set brand filters to show their preferred chemicals to suppliers

    - Can see if an InCheck report is available in the supplier profile

02/ The ZDHC Gateway - Wastewater Module - Key Roles

The user groups on the Wastewater Module are:

  - ZDHC Accepted Laboratories

  - Suppliers

  - Brands (brands or retailers that are ZDHC Contributors or Friends of ZDHC)

  1. ZDHC Accepted Laboratories

    - Upon becoming an Accepted Laboratory, credentials will be received to log into the ZDHC Gateway - Wastewater Module

    - Submit wastewater test result data on behalf of a supplier (verified Wastewater data)

    Suppliers

    - Suppliers with access to the ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module must pay the annual wastewater reporting fee. Those that do not have an account yet will first create an account on the ZDHC Gateway - Chemical Module and then pay the annual wastewater reporting fee

    - The account is visible on Detox.Live

    - Confirm or decline the data that has been submitted by a ZDHC Accepted Laboratory (verified wastewater data)

    - Can generate a ZDHC Clearstream report

    - Publish verified wastewater data (upon payment of fee)

    - Can also upload own data (unverified wastewater data) - not public (upon payment of fee)

    - Can upload CAP/RCA if needed

    - Verified wastewater test reports and the respective ClearStream report are visible to brands

    - Unverified wastewater test reports are not visible to brands, and do not have a ClearStream report

    - Results of verified and unverified wastewater test data is visible on Detox.Live, where wastewater performance is colour coded

    Verified wastewater test reports and the respective ClearStream report are visible to brands.

  2. Brands (brands or retailers that are ZDHC Contributors or Friends of ZDHC)

    - Upon becoming a ZDHC Contributor or a Friend of ZDHC login credentials will be received to access the ZDHC Gateway (Chemical and Wastewater Modules)

    - Can bookmark suppliers

    - Can see wastewater data and Clearstream reports

    - Can send a connection request to suppliers and once that is accepted, can download InCheck data and wastewater data (pdf, csv)

    - Can publish that connection publicly on Detox.Live
