The following areas are out of the scope of the ZDHC ETP Assessment:

• Indirect discharge facilities with or without pretreatment^*
• Zero liquid discharge (ZLD) facilities^*
• Metal part accessories or non-textile trims manufacturers
• Polymer production
• Raw wool scouring
• Chemical formulators
• MMCF, dissolved pulp and recycled polyester facilities

• Central effluent treatment plants (CETPs) 

  ^* ETP Assessment for indirect discharge facilities with pre-treatment and ZLD type facilities will be considered for development by the ZDHC in the next update.
