The KPI’s are divided under the 3 areas

  • ETP Design
  • Operational Control
  • Team Competence

Any facility that does not meet one or more ETP Design KPI/s it will be classified as “ALERT” and the final outcome of the ETP Assessment will be classifed as alert.

If the facility is classified as a non-Alert for the ETP Design KPI’s only, then the facility will be allocated the Level , Level 2 or Level 3 scoring.

Scoring is as follows:

  • Level 1: 1 point for each KPI met for operational control and team competence.
  • Level 2: 2 points for each KPI met for operational control and team competence.
  • Level 3: 3 points for each KPI met for operational control and team competence

If the facility is not able to meet the requirements of Level 1, then no scoring will be awarded for that particular KPI of operational control and team competence.

AlertETP process design KPIs are not met.

If the ZDHC Approved Reviewer categorises the facility as “Alert” based on the ETP Design KPIs, further assessment of KPIs related to operational control and team competence may still be conducted.

However, this additional assessment will only serve to highlight potential areas for improvement and will not be scored at Levels 1, 2, or 3. In such cases, the final outcome will remain classified as “Alert.”
