Knowledge base

Chemical formulators should review their formulation portfolios against ZDHC MRSL V4.0 and the applicable ZDHC Chemicals to Zero - Foundational requirements (previously ZDHC MRSL Conformance Guidance V2.1).

They should work with their ZDHC Approved Certifier - MRSL to identify:

  • Formulations that can be recertified against V4.0 without changing their composition.
  • Formulations requiring reformulation or substitution to meet V4.0 requirements.
  • Formulations that cannot meet the new requirements and should be withdrawn.

Chemical formulators should begin identifying or developing suitable alternatives and planning the withdrawal of formulations that will no longer conform.
