This article explains the Approvals overview page — the central workspace for ZDHC Approved MRSL Certifiers in ChemCheck. It covers the table columns, available search and filter options, and what each status means.
01/ Introduction
ℹ️ If you used the previous ZDHC Gateway: The ways in which certifications can be added to product profiles remain available in the revamped ZDHC Gateway. ZDHC Approved MRSL Certifiers can add certifications by using the manual bulk upload function with a CSV file or through the Certifier API. In addition, the relaunched ZDHC Gateway introduces a new option: chemical formulators can assign products to a certifier, allowing the certifier to assign certifications directly to those products. In the revamped ZDHC Gateway, every certification is also linked to a specific Safety Data Sheet version.
02/ Accessing the Approvals overview
- Log in and select Certification Body as your organisation type.
- In the top navigation, click ChemCheck.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Approvals.
What the Approvals overview shows

| Formulator name | The name of the formulator organisation that assigned the product to you |
| Status | The current review status of this assignment: Under Review, Accepted, or Declined |
| MRSL | The current MRSL certification level assigned by your organisation for this product: Not Applicable, Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 |
| Chemicals to Zero | The current CTZ certification level assigned by your organisation: Not Applicable, Foundational, or Provisionally Progressive |

03/ Statuses explained

| Accepted | You have assigned at least one active MRSL certification to the product. |
| Declined | You have formally declined the assignment and provided a reason. |
04/ Searching and filtering
At the top of the Approvals page, you can search by product name to find a specific product quickly.
⚠️ Note: Additional filters will be available in a future release.
05/ Opening a product for review
Click on any row in the Approvals table to open the product review panel. This is a side panel that slides open on the right and gives you full access to the product details and all certification actions. See How to review a product assignment for a full walkthrough.
06/ When a product is unassigned by the formulator
If a formulator removes your organisation's assignment from a product, the product is immediately removed from your Approvals overview. You will no longer see it on the table. The removal will be recorded in your activity log.
