Knowledge base

This article explains the product portfolio table in ChemCheck: what information it shows, how to navigate it, and how to find specific products.

01/ Introduction

If you used the previous version of the platform, product IDs have changed. With the relaunch of the ZDHC Gateway, every product has a new standardised ID. Products can now also carry multiple classifications (previously, only one was possible), and product names can now include any characters, including Chinese or Turkish script.

The Products page is the main page in your ChemCheck module. It shows a complete table of all the chemical products associated with your organisation across all statuses, from draft through to published. From here, you can search and filter your portfolio, create new products, and open any product to view or edit its details.

02/ Accessing your product portfolio

  1. Log in and select your organisation.
  2. In the top navigation, click ChemCheck.
  3. In the left-hand navigation, click Products. The Products page opens by default when you enter the ChemCheck module.

03/ The product table

Each row in the table represents a single product. The following columns are shown:

Column What it shows
Product ID The unique identifier for the product. All product IDs start with "20" followed by a long number. Use this ID when contacting ZDHC support or a certification body about a specific product.
Product Name The full product name. If the product has local language or alternative names, these are shown in smaller text directly below the primary name.
MRSL Level The current MRSL conformance level assigned by a certification body: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Not Applicable. Blank if no certification has been assigned yet.
Chemicals to Zero Level The Chemicals to Zero (CTZ) conformance level: Foundational, Provisionally Progressive, Progressive, Aspirational, or Not Applicable. Blank if no CTZ certification has been assigned.
Substrate The substrate classification(s) assigned to the product.
Category The product category classification(s).
Use Type The use type classification(s).
Status The current status of the product. See the section below for a full explanation of each status.

04/ Product statuses

Status What it means
Draft The product has been created but has not yet been submitted for review by a certification body.
Under Review A certification body has been assigned to the product and it is currently being reviewed.
Accepted At least one certification body has issued an active certificate. The formulator can now publish it.
Not Accepted All assigned certification bodies have declined the product. The formulator cannot publish it.
Published The product has been accepted and made publicly visible. It is searchable by suppliers and other organisations.

Tip: See Understanding product statuses for a full explanation of the product lifecycle and what actions are available at each stage.

05/ Searching and filtering

Use the controls above the product table to find specific products:

  • Search bar: Enter a product name or product ID to filter results instantly.
  • MRSL Conformance Level filter: Filter by a specific MRSL level.
  • Chemicals to Zero Level filter: Filter by a specific CTZ level.

Multiple filters can be applied at the same time.

06/ Page size and pagination

The product table is paginated. You can control how many products are shown per page using the page size selector below the table. The available options are 25, 50, 100, 200, and 500 products per page.

If the total number of products in your portfolio is smaller than the selected page size, no pagination controls are shown, and all products appear on a single page.

Tip: If you have a large portfolio, set the page size to 500 to view more products at once, or use the search bar to filter down to the product you need.

07/ Opening a product

Click anywhere on a product row to open the product detail page. From there, you can view all product information, edit the product, manage certification body assignments, and publish or unpublish it.

08/ Tips & Notes

Note: Products from other chemical formulator organisations are never visible in your portfolio. Your product portfolio only shows products belonging to your own organisation. If you have access to multiple formulator accounts, make sure you have selected the correct organisation before searching.
