• In-House Method: Reference the explicit internal standard operating procedure (SOP) along with its active version tracking number.
• Adapted Standard Method: The laboratory must reference the original baseline standard, but explicitly include the qualification text: "applied with reference to [Standard]" or "modified according to [Standard Code], adapted for [Matrix Type]."
