The sampling schedule cannot begin simultaneously with the facility's production shift. It must be dynamically synchronised with the ETP's retention properties. For example, if a facility initiates its production cycle at 8:00 AM and the calculated hydraulic lag time of the ETP is 3 hours, the sampler is structurally required to delay the start of the ETP discharge sampling until exactly 11:00 AM.
