The choice of verification protocol is mathematically determined by the absolute size of the supplier’s inventory. The solution provider must check the inventory size using the ZDHC On-Site App prior to the visit and apply the following rule:

• Type 1 Process: Mandated when the supplier’s chemical inventory contains fewer than 30 chemical products.
• Type 2 Process: Mandated when the chemical inventory is equal to or greater than 30 chemical products.
