ZDHC is proud to collaborate closely with Canopy in driving more sustainable chemical management practices across the MMCF supply chain. Over the past years, this collaboration has been strengthened through the inclusion of chemical management criteria — based on the ZDHC MMCF Module — in Canopy’s publicly available Hot Button Report, a trusted global benchmark for responsible fibre sourcing.

In a joint effort to make the MMCF industry more sustainable, the chemical management criteria — represented by the chemical flask icon in the Hot Button Report — have been continuously reviewed and updated since 2021. This ensures alignment with the latest MMCF Guidelines and establishes a clear roadmap for continuous improvement among suppliers.

For a more detailed explanation on the chemical management criteria timelines and requirements, please refer to this article.
