Knowledge base

The Material Inventory List (MIL) is a standardised template provided by ZDHC for facilities to record all input materials (excluding chemical formulations) used in production. It ensures consistency, traceability and transparency across the supply chain.

By keeping the MIL updated, preferably monthly, facilities can track input material sourcing and suppliers, non-conformity, RCA- CAP etc.

If the facility uses an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or an in-house template to record input material, it may continue to do so, provided all the information required under the ZDHC MIL is captured within those systems.
