The recommendations show information related to the recommendations given.
The recommendation interface displays three key metrics using visual indicator bars:
- Investment costs (shown with green highlighting for "no cost")
- Implementation effort (shown with yellow highlighting for "small")
- Payback period (shown with yellow highlighting for "short-term")
Each metric uses a five-point scale with visual indicators showing the selected level.
Investment costs
Investment costs describe the costs needed to implement the recommendation:
- No costs: 0 US$ (indicated by green)
- Small costs: max. 100 US$
- Moderate: max. 1,000 US$
- Considerable: max. 5,000 US$
- It depends: Depending on the individual situation and/or availability of services and material in the region and/or access to financial support (e.g. development banks)
Note: The investment cost is only an estimation based on our general understanding. This cost may vary based on the actual scope and depth of improvements made, as well as the geographical location of your facility.
Implementation effort
Implementation effort describes the time needed to implement the recommendation:
- Minimum: potentially less than ½ day
- Small: potentially within a day (indicated by yellow)
- Medium: potentially within a week
- Expert needed: Suppliers may require expert support
- It depends: dependent on the set-up and location of your facility
Payback
Payback describes the time needed to achieve a return on investment:
- Immediate: 0 - 3 months
- Short: 3 months - 1 year (indicated by yellow)
- Medium: 1 year - 3 years
- Long: over 3 years
