Knowledge base

Third-party assessments are conducted by ZDHC Approved Supplier to Zero Assessors.

Find an Assessment Provider

  • Once you have completed your Supplier to Zero self-assessment and choose to have it verified, select “Find a Solution Provider” on the Supplier Platform.
  • You will be taken to the “Select Solution Provider” page, where you can view the companies approved to conduct Supplier to Zero assessments.
  • To view further information about an Approved Solution Provider, including their contact details and website, select “Create Handshake” for that provider.

Agree on the assessment arrangements

Use the contact details provided to contact the Approved Solution Provider directly outside the Supplier Platform and agree on the assessment arrangements, including:

  • Assessment type
  • Scope
  • Timing
  • Costs
  • Other relevant assessment details

You might also want to arrange a verified InCheck as part of the same assessment.

Important: Before sending a handshake request, you must contact the Approved Solution Provider directly outside the Supplier Platform and agree on the terms of the third-party assessment. Do not send the handshake request until the assessment has been agreed with the Solution Provider.

Submit your request

Once you have agreed on the assessment details:

  • Return to the Supplier Platform.
  • Select the Assessment Provider you have agreed to work with.
  • Select “Create Handshake” to formally send the request to the chosen Approved Solution Provider.
  • The Solution Provider then assigns the assessor and confirms the assessment from their side, allowing the third-party assessment to proceed.
  • The assigned assessor will have access to your completed Supplier Profile and Supplier to Zero self-assessment. You should also provide the assessor with the relevant supporting evidence required to conduct the assessment.
