This article explains the two activity logs available in ChemCheck — the product-level log and the module-level log — what they record, and how to use filters to find specific events.
01/ Introduction
ChemCheck provides two activity logs to help you track everything that has happened with your products:
- Product activity log: a log of all events for a single product, accessed from the product detail page.
- Module activity log: an overview of all activity across your entire product portfolio, accessed from the left-hand navigation.
Both logs are read-only and cannot be edited or deleted.
Note: The activity log may take longer than expected to load in some cases. This is a known issue that will be resolved in a future update.
02/ Product activity log
The product activity log shows a complete history of everything that has happened to a specific product: edits, status changes, certification assignments, and more.
To access it:
- Open the product from your product portfolio.
- On the product detail page, click the Activity log tab.
The log shows each event as a row with the following information:
| Column | What it shows |
| Date / Time | When the event occurred |
| Action | What happened (e.g., product created, SDS uploaded, CB assigned, status changed) |
| Actor | Which user performed the action |
| Description | A summary of what changed |
03/ Module activity log
The module activity log gives you an overview of all activity across all your products in one place.
To access it:
- In the left-hand ChemCheck navigation, click Activity log.
The module log shows the same column structure as the product log, with the addition of:
| Column | What it shows |
| Product ID | The ID of the product the action relates to |
| Product name | The name of the product |
| ZDHC MRSL standard | The ZDHC MRSL standard version relevant to the action |
04/ Filtering the activity log
Both logs support filtering to help you find specific events. Available filters:
- Product ID — filter by a specific product
- Action type — filter by the type of event
- Actor — filter by the user who performed the action
- ZDHC MRSL standard — filter by ZDHC MRSL standard version (module log only)
- Date from / Date to — filter by a date range
Multiple filters can be applied at the same time.
