This article explains how to publish a ChemCheck product so it becomes visible in search to Suppliers, Brands, and other organisations.
01/ Introduction
Publishing a product is the final step in making it available on the ZDHC Gateway. A product must first be accepted by at least one certification body before the publish option becomes available. Once published, the product appears in search results for all organisation types except other Chemical Formulators.
02/ Prerequisites
- The product must have an Accepted status. The publish toggle is locked for products in Draft, Under Review, or Declined status.
03/ Steps
- Open the product from your product portfolio.
- On the product detail page, locate the Publish toggle. It is enabled when the product status is Accepted.
- Click the toggle. A confirmation modal opens.
The modal shows a summary of what will be published, including:
• The ZDHC MRSL certification level and the certification body that assigned it• The certification expiration date• The Chemicals to Zero certification level (if applicable)- Review the details, then click Publish product to confirm.
04/ After publishing
Once published:
- The product is immediately visible in search for suppliers, Brands, Vendors, and other non-formulator organisations.
- The product status in your portfolio updates to Published.
05/ Tips & Notes
Note: Only the certification and Chemicals to Zero data shown in the confirmation modal will be published. If a ZDHC Approved ZDHC MRSL Certifier has declined and another has accepted, only the accepted certification is shown and published.
Tip: You can unpublish a product at any time. See How to unpublish a product for details.
