Currently, only Brands and Retailers can become a Signatory Friend of ZDHC-Brand.

ZDHC Signatories commit to the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme and “contribute” to its development, both financially and importantly, non-financially, by way of actively engaging in Programme working groups and activities. Signatories work with us on harmonising standards and creating tools to support safer chemical management within the global textile and footwear value chain.

The Signatory Friend of ZDHC - Brand concept is for brands or retailers that want to learn more about ZDHC and/or are at an early stage of implementing sustainable chemical management frameworks. They wish to use and implement ZDHC Solutions and Platforms to support their journey.

A Signatory Friend of ZDHC - Brand aligns with the ZDHC mission, vision and purpose. They would like to access and use ZDHC Solutions rather than engage in the development of them. This differs from ZDHC Signatory, who engage by participating in the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme.
