With the publication of the MMCF V3 guideline on the 1st November 2025, all currently ZDHC Approved Laboratories (approved for Wastewater Guideline V2.2) will be able to provide wastewater testing services to all MMCF supplier facilities.

Summary of the main updates reflected in the On-site App :
Untreated sampling point: No sampling required anymore
Effluent sampling point: Sampling is now required also for Indirect discharge without pretreatment.
Sludge sampling point: Sampling is now required for Direct, Indirect with pretreatment, and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) facilities.
On-site (on-field) parameter addition: Persistent foam sampling is now mandatory as a sampled parameter on-site.
Temperature Difference: (ΔT) remains the preferred parameter. If the ΔT measurement is not possible, the Absolute Temperature must be reported instead (specify it in the note field)
Important note:
Until October 2026: Wastewater Laboratories testing wastewater for MMCF facilities must continue to follow the Sampling SAP outlined in the Wastewater Guidelines V2.2.
From November 2026 onward: The applicable Sampling SAP will transition to the one provided in the new Wastewater and Sludge Guidelines V2.
