The qualitative section of the Resource Efficiency Module is based on a previously existing initiative called CPI2 (Carbon Performance Improvement Initiative). It contains evaluation points related to electrical, thermal, water, and chemicals. Based on learnings accrued during its ten-year run-time, the content of CPI2 was also updated with new features added. Furthermore, additional content was provided by a few ZDHC Contributor brands.
