Knowledge base

Yes. A facility can start a new self-assessment at any time, except when a third-party assessment is in progress.

What happens to the existing self-assessment depends on whether it has been submitted:

  • If the current self-assessment has not been submitted: Starting a new self-assessment will replace the existing one. The existing self-assessment and its answers will be lost.
  • If the current self-assessment has already been submitted: The new self-assessment becomes the current assessment, while the previously submitted assessment is retained as a Historic Assessment.

A new self-assessment cannot be started while a third-party assessment is in progress.
