This article explains the activity log available to ZDHC Approved MRSL Certifiers in ChemCheck — what it records, how to access it, and how to use filters to find specific events.
01/ Introduction
The activity log gives your organisation a complete record of all actions taken in ChemCheck — certifications assigned or removed, products declined, SDS selections made, and assignments received or removed by formulators. It is a read-only audit trail and cannot be edited.
Note: The activity log may take longer than expected to load in some cases. This is a known issue that will be resolved in a future update.
02/ Steps
- In the top navigation, click ChemCheck.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Activity log.
03/ What the activity log shows
The activity log displays all certification-related actions associated with your organisation's assignments. Each row represents one event:
- Date / Time: Shows when the event or action occurred.
- Product ID: The ID of the product related to the action.
- Product name: The name of the product.
- ZDHC MRSL standard: Shows the relevant ZDHC MRSL standard version, where applicable.
- Action: Describes what happened, for example, a certification being assigned or removed, a product being declined, an SDS being selected, or an assignment being received or removed.
- Actor: The user who performed the action.
- Description: Provides a summary of what changed.
04/ Filtering the activity log
The activity log supports filtering to help you find specific events. Available filters:
- Product ID — filter by a specific product
- Action type — filter by the type of event
- Actor — filter by the user who performed the action
- ZDHC MRSL standard — filter by ZDHC MRSL standard version
- Date from / Date to — filter by a date range
Multiple filters can be applied simultaneously.
05/ Tips & Notes
Tip: The activity log is your primary reference if a chemical formulator disputes a certification decision or asks for a timeline of actions. Use the product ID filter combined with a date range to quickly reconstruct the history of a specific assignment.
Note: The activity log shows events from your organisation's perspective only. You cannot see actions taken by other certification bodies on the same products.
