The course is aimed at relevant personnel within suppliers’ organisations, as well as the auditors evaluating facilities for their ZDHC CMS implementation. The ZDHC CMS TIG training is a follow up training for those with prior knowledge of chemical management.
If you have no prior knowledge of chemical management it is recommended that you first attend an ZDHC Introduction to Chemical Management training or ZDHC Top 10 Best Practise training via the ZDHC Academy. ZDHC CMS TIG training is designed to build further on the basics of sustainable chemical management.

As the ZDHC CMS TIG training is delivered via our Accredited Training Providers (ATP), the cost for the training may differ by provider and the training methodology may vary (for example: in-person, virtual/digital).
The ZDHC Academy certificate for the ZDHC CMS TIG Training will be granted after succeeding in the respective ZDHC Academy exam. The access to the exam for the ZDHC CMS TIG training is included in the payment of your course via the Accredited Training Provider. To be eligible to receive a certificate for the ZDHC CMS TIG training, you will need to register for a training course, follow the course entirely, be proactive in the course, fill in the pre-assessment and feedback survey and finally pass the official ZDHC Academy exam (passing score is 75%) When you fulfil all the requirements, you will receive a personal certificate directly on the ZDHC Academy.
Yes, the ZDHC CMS TIG training is accompanied with an exam that includes around 40 questions about the topics covered during the training. When you answer 75% of the exam questions correctly you have passed the exam.
ZDHC Academy will open the exams to the learners as soon as the trainer confirms your full attendance of the course. The examination will remain open within 14 days after the training is completed, and you have 2 attempts to pass this exam.
Your ZDHC Academy certificate is valid for 2 years. You will receive an automatic notification when your certificate expires.

The high-level course content is shared on the course page. All our Accredited Training Providers will build the training based on a curriculum made by ZDHC and will cover the 9 topics of the ZDHC Chemical Management System Technical Industry Guide (CMS TIG), which is the official ZDHC Guideline available at the Roadmap to Zero website.
Not all sessions will therefore be identical, but they will be fully aligned and validated by the ZDHC Academy. We always advise to connect upfront with the training provider for more information about a session on offer and of course to review the ZDHC CMS TIG before the training.
The length of the training will be dependent on the Accredited Training Providers, and how deep they would like to cover certain topics. Prior knowledge about chemical management and the content of the ZDHC CMS TIG is important as the training will straight away dive into practical implementation.
