ZDHC recognises that other like-minded organisations collate greenhouse gas (GHG) data. We do not want to cause duplication, so if a supplier is already collecting GHG data on another platform, they should continue with that and can directly report the Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions value in KgCO2eq or tCO2e using the ZDHC Air Emissions Module.

However, ZDHC also provides a platform for suppliers that have not done the Scope 1 & Scope 2 GHG emissions calculation, to calculate and report their Scope 1 & Scope 2 GHG emissions.
