The concept of “sustainable chemical management” is going further than conventional chemical management and controlling the chemical inputs at the beginning of the production process. By using SCM in production, products should have the same quality and functionality, without impacting the environment, ecosystem or humans, by substituting chemicals that cause a hazard to human health and the enviornment, from the manufacturing process with safer alternatives.
