ZDHC constantly strives to improve the usability and functionality of the ZDHC Academy platform, as well as increase the user experience. In this regard, we are creating a new platform that will improve your experience.
The existing ZDHC Academy platform will go offline between the 19th April and 1st May 2023.
What does the ZDHC Academy blackout period mean to me as a trainer or Approved Training Provider (ATP)?
During the ZDHC Academy system blackout period, you (as a trainer) are not be able to:
-
Login to your ZDHC Academy account
-
Set up new trainings on the old ZDHC Academy platform
-
View the current courses that you or your team has set up
-
Accept or invite new learners onto a course
-
Change the attendance status of the leaners
-
Download ZDHC standardised training materials or curriculum from the platform
-
Access to past webinar recordings
The majority of the core functionalities will be resumed as soon as the new platform is launched (except the last two points, which we will roll out shortly after the platform launch).
If you have had already an account on the old ZDHC Academy, you don't need to create a new account once the new ZDHC Academy is launched. We encourage you to check out and explore the new platform once it is launched. When you go to the new platform, you will be asked to:
-
Reset your password for security reasons
-
Login to the new platform to review and update your profile to ensure your information on the ZDHC Academy remains up-to-date.
The ZDHC Academy team will strive to make the transition as seamless as possible. In this regard, the following information will be automatically transferred from the old to the new platform:
-
Learners personal profile, including the username*
-
Learners attendance status of your past courses
-
Learners certification status and exam results
-
Learners course enrolment status for future courses (except non-accepted course invitations)
*Note: Learners will be asked to reset their password for security reasons
Unfortunately, due to technical reasons, we are unable to transfer the following data:
-
Any course registration invitation links sent to learners via the old ZDHC Academy platform
-
Responses of partially and fully completed exams
-
PDF copies of learner's training certificates in the current format
The existing course registration link that learners have received is no longer valid. They will need to ask the Training Providers to resend the learners the link after the new platform is live again on 1st May 2023.
In case the training courses learners have been invited to involve the following, then they need to ask their Solution Provider who they work for to resend the course training invitation after 1st May 2023:
-
Wastewater & Sludge Sampler Training (Version 2.1)
-
InCheck Verifiers - Level 1
Due to personal reasons, a learner was not able to complete the exam before the ZDHC Academy blackout period started. What should the learner do?
The ZDHC Academy team strongly encourages learners to complete the exam prior to the start of the platform blackout period. However, if learners are unable to do so, they can restart their exam after the launch of the new platform on 1st May 2023.
Please be advised that any exam responses that learners have filled out and are partially completed will not be transferred to the new platform. This means learners will have to redo the exam from the beginning.
The ZDHC Academy Team strives to continuously improve the platform. You will see gradual improvements in the coming months and years after the new ZDHC Academy Platform is launched.
